Paint with Purpose is more than a painting event. Each gathering is designed to bring people together around a meaningful local cause, create space for connection, and help raise awareness and support for nonprofit partners in our community.

Every gathering is centered around a theme — such as Hope, Strength, or Light — and includes a shared community canvas that becomes part of the growing Paint with Purpose gallery. These pieces serve as lasting reminders of the nonprofits we have supported and the people who showed up to help.

Through HG Cares, Paint with Purpose continues to grow as a place where creativity meets compassion and community turns into impact.

In support of Say Something Assembly

Our first Paint with Purpose gathering brought guests together in support of Say Something Assembly and their mission to educate, protect, and empower students and families. The theme of the gathering was Hope, reminding us that awareness, prevention, and community support can create meaningful change.

Paint with Purpose Benefiting 5th Squad

In support of 5th Squad

May 2 Herrin-Gear Lexus

On May 2, HG Cares hosted Paint with Purpose at Herrin-Gear Lexus in support of 5th Squad and their mission to serve our veterans in need. Guests gathered for an afternoon centered on Strength — painting “Strength Mountain” with the guidance of Keri Davis of Pacesetter Gallery, hearing more about 5th Squad’s mission, and adding brushstrokes to our shared Strength Community Canvas.

Together, we have raised $1,758 so far for 5th Squad.
