The 530i and 530i xDrive feature a 2.0-liter turbo 4-cylinder engine with 48V mild hybrid technology, producing 255 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. The 540i xDrive is equipped with a 3.0-liter turbo 6-cylinder engine with mild hybrid assistance, delivering 375 horsepower and 398 lb-ft of torque. New for 2025, the 550e xDrive plug-in hybrid combines a 3.0-liter turbo 6-cylinder engine with an electric motor for a total system output of 483 horsepower. All models utilize an 8-speed automatic transmission, with the 530i available in rear-wheel drive while the remaining variants come standard with xDrive all-wheel drive.
